We've recently ordered takeout from here a couple of times after not eating here in many years and I've been impressed. It's classic strip mall Chinese so rating is based on that expectation. They are little higher priced now than some of the competition but it was worth it. Fried items were crispy and not overly greasy. Spicy items were really good and they will adjust the for you.

This place is the best. The only downside that is that it does not deliver. The lady that checks me out when I pick up food always remembers me and asks how my family is doing. Very friendly people. I have never had a problem with the food. The quality and taste of the food is great. Please keep the Chinese donuts in stock though!! Also I have been going here for almost 15 years. I would highly recommend this place. Not really made for a good dining in experience. We normally just pick up and eat our food at home.

while it is no amazing fully decked out restaurant and food is amazing for the price every rare occasion is something ever wrong and if it is the extremely kind women who is always there takes care of me. I've never had such a kind and welcoming environment time and time again. and because of this I'm a regular customer who they know quite well and ill gladly and happy be going back

This is your average Chinese takeout restaurant, but they do it well. Even though we have several places closer to us (wake forest), we always choose Chen's Kitchen. Yes, most takeout places have all the same dishes, but somehow theirs is just the best! And while they're usually pretty quick/short on the phone, they are actually all really nice! Been going there for years, two thumbs up!
